PATHWAY TO
UNIVERSITY INTERVIEW
It have spent over 6 years studying and spending time in the U.K., from high school
to bachelor degree. When I first came here, I studied at Bromsgrove School until I completed
my bachelor’s degree in Management Bsc. (Hons) from University of Bath. The main reason
I studied management is that I had a plan to come back and take over my family business.
There are huge differences in responsibilities between studying in high school and
in university. When I was in Bromsgrove School, teachers usually closely supervised and took
care of students while in university, with more freedom, it also comes with more responsibilities.
For example, taking good care of myself in terms of studying and daily activities without having
teachers call me up in the morning or cook for me like in boarding school. This in a way enabled
me to grow up and handle more responsibilities.
During 3 years in the university, I not only gained knowledge and skills related to
Teng Neung teamwork, negotiation and leadership, but it also allowed me to broaden my horizontal views
through traveling to places and exchanging ideas with people from different societies. More
importantly, it made me realize the meaning of life, including the aspect of working. Things that
Pheerawich Sasiluksananon the study and journey taught me was that realizing the cooperation with others, being a good
listener, and respecting self and others would enable us to be successful in life.
For those interested in studying in the U.K., I strongly encourage your decision because
BSc (Hons) Management
the U.K. is a nice country with a good education system and friendly people. I can confirm that
University of Bath, UK
studying in the U.K. will offer you great experiences.
Personally, studying at a university level requires both skill and responsibility. However,
without a basic foundation of the course and ability to adapt to the new constantly-changing
environment, students may find it difficult to study in a foreign country. I am quite fortunate that I
graduated from the IB Diploma Programme, therefore it was not hard for me to study in a university
in Australia.
The curriculum of IB Diploma Programme helps prepare students in aptitude and skills
without a sole emphasis on studying the core subjects. I think that this educational program
encourages students to have practical skill and creativity as well as accept different opinions within
the society.
Tus Studying in Australia is not that difficult, however, students have to step out of their
comfort one to see the wider world. If you have questions, just ask without worrying about anything.
