Saññā : perception of who, what, where, how
When feeling has arisen towards anything
there’ll, subsequently, be memories arising
increasingly into the mind, (perhaps)
concerning a romantic film we once saw,
so that we’ll remember the scenario, and
the leading actress being given a red rose
by the hero
Perception : saññākhandha
Sankhāra : concocting of desire
We’ll remember and then we’ll think,
perhaps we’ll concoct the desire to get
some red roses
Thinking : sankhārakhandha
Thinking that I’ll buy or steal, then buying
or stealing one = kammic thought,
kammic speech and kammic action.
Desire is the cause which concocts the arising of kammic activity by way of the mind,
speech, and body, to buy roses (so we buy some, or, we might think about stealing
some, so that we go and steal them, etc.)
Kamma : Deliberate, Intentional, Activities
