Apathy
A-puh-thee
การแสดงออกทางอารมณ์ลดลง การไม่กระตือรือร้น มักพบในผู้ป่วยโรคซึมเศร้า และ
โรคจิตเภท
Decreased emotional expression, lack of enthusiasm. Often found in patients
with depression and schizophrenia.
Aphasia เออะ-ฟา-เซีย
Uh-fay-zhuh
ความบกพร่องในการสื่อภาษาเนื่องจากมีพยาธิสภาพที่สมอง อาจจะเป็น motor aphasis
คือ ไม่อาจจะพูดสื่อความหมายได้ หรือเป็น sensory aphasia คือ ไม่สามารถเข้าใจภาษาพูดได้
Language disability due to a pathology in the brain. It may be motor aphasia
in which the patient is not able to speak or it may be sensory aphasia, in which
the patient is not able to understand spoken language.

Aphonia
Uh-fohn-yuh

Patient cannot make any vocal sound.
เออะ-พราค-ชี-เออะ
Apraxia
Ay-prak-see-uh
ไม่สามารถควบคุมการเคลื่อนไหวตามความปรารถนาได้ โดยที่ส่วนนั้นไม่ได้เป็นอัมพาต มัก
พบในรายที่มีพยาธิสภาพที่สมอ
Inability to control intended movement. Not the same as paralysis. Often
found pathological condition of the brain.
