of Our Family

Tik was the youngest of four siblings. As a child, Tik was a very good student. No matter
what subject he studied, he was able to get high scores. Tik’s abilities were not limited to
academics, he was also talented in art. Tik’s paintings have won awards from our previous
King, His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej, and it brought pride to our Nidhiprabha family.
When Tik got older, he was determined to get into Thammasat University. He woke up

to read books at 4 a.m. every day. The image that I always remember was when I woke up
early in the morning, Tik would already be sitting at his desk reading books.
Tik was a very hardworking person. He was also a serious person who lived a simple life.

He did not like to make a fuss, and even though he might seem calm on the outside, people who
knew Tik well knew that he had a good sense of humor and was always teasing his siblings.
When Tik retired, I hoped that I would have the chance to spend some time with my
younger brother. I wanted to eat and travel together to make up for the time he had to study
and work hard. But God has played a trick on us. That rare opportunity would never happen

again. However, I will keep those beautiful memories forever. Let Tik know that he is loved
and is always a source of pride for the Nidhiprabha family, and especially for this older brother.
