Numerous areas in Khon Kaen have been revitalized thanks to the
collaboration of many parties in both the governmental and commercial
sectors, as well as the city’s upgrade in accordance with the Khon Kaen
Smart City Project. MICE tourists will profit from the imagination and
appeal in these neighborhoods.

Srichan Area

Originally a commercial neighborhood and
a center for education and entertainment,
this area is old yet trendy. Thais, Chinese
and Sikhs are among the residents, resulting
in a fascinating combination of cultures.
Furthermore, Srichan Road is a hotspot for
delectable cuisine. Chinese cuisine at Cathay
restaurant, Beef Noodles in Clear Soup at
Chuen Jit restaurant and Mui Jin ancient-
style coffee are must-tries.

Bueng Kaen Nakhon area

Visit “MAIELIE,” a fresh new contemporary
art exhibition space established from the
Museum of Contemporary Art, Chiang Mai,
by Eric Bunnag Booth. The location is a
two-story structure that has a gallery, café,
bookstore, event area for live music, film
screenings and rotating live events.
