KHON KAEN IS THE CENTER OF THE NORTHEAST
Khon Kaen province is strategically positioned in the heart of the northeast, making
it a hub for administration, economy, education, medicine and transportation.
Not only is it a link to other provinces in the same region; it is also located on
the Economic Corridor of the Greater Mekong Subregion (GMS), which comprises
Thailand, Myanmar, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam and China.
