The UNESCO World Heritage Site, Angkor Wat, was
built to be the mausoleum for King Suryavaram II and
took more than 100 years and 5,000 stone carvers to
complete.
13.00 – 14.00 Lunch
14.00 – 17.30 Kampong Phluk
During the dry season, village homes stand on posts
of hardwood as high as 10 meters above the dry
lakebed. Once the monsoons come, the lake rises
and the village appears to be floating.
Les Artisans D’Angkor
Watch as artisans are trained in different Khmer arts
and crafts, like weaving, wood and stone carving,
painting and gold work.
