MESSAGE FROM THE GOVERNOR OF

TOURISM AUTHORITY OF THAILAND

The tourism industry has increasingly been a foremost driving force of Thailand’s social
and economic development. Through resourceful publicity campaigns by both the government
and private sector, we have accomplished promoting the country’s tourism resources
to visitors. This in turn has allowed people of all levels of society to have a role in this
mega-industry as well as generated employment opportunities and disseminated income
nationwide, resulting in a better quality of life.
Thailand’s tourism strategy focuses on both domestic and international markets.
We aim to fortify the tourism industry with the use of innovation and employ this
potential to attract international tourists to Thailand.

The Association of Thai Travel Agents (ATTA) through its members has also had
an invaluable role in their major undertakings in promoting sustainable tourism and
attracting quality tourists worldwide to come to our country to experience the vast
myriad of natural and cultural tourism resources on offer.
On behalf of the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), I would like to express my
heartfelt appreciation to ATTA and its members for their continual support, as well
as wish them to achieve their set objectives and attain prosperous success in the
future. Lastly, I am certain that through the 2024-2025 ATTA Directory, we will see
an increase in tourist arrivals through our cooperative endeavours, further elevating
Thailand’s position in the global tourism arena.
