6. Electricity usage rate and cost saving:

The amount of electricity used for processing the DVD in 2023 increased to 4380 kWh. However,
after the implementation of the online portal in 2024, the amount of electricity used decreased to 3066
kWh, which was a 30% decrease from the previous year. This reduction in electricity usage also resulted
in a saving of 328.5 USD, or 30%, compared to the previous year.

7. CO2 emission saving:

In 2023, the overall DVD process produced a carbon footprint of 749 kgCO2. However, in 2024, after
switching to the online portal, this number decreased to 556 kgCO2, resulting in a 193 kgCO2 decrease,
or a 25% decrease from the previous year. Since one tree is estimated to save 0.06 kgCO2, the use of
the online portal saved the equivalent of about 3,217 trees.
