UK boarding schools offer a world-class education for children and teenagers as well as the chance to follow their passion
for learning and gain qualifications that are recognised and respected by universities worldwide. There are approximately 500
boarding schools across the United Kingdom. Over 28,910 children and teenagers from around the world came to the UK to
study at a boarding school last year, sharing international experience and making friends with the local pupils.
UK boarding schools offer you an outstanding education, helping you to develop your skills and progress to university. All
UK boarding schools have to meet strict government standards on the quality of their teaching, facilities and student care. Many
UK boarding schools combine beautiful, centuries - old buildings with a mix of modern classrooms and traditional architecture.
The excellent facilities help make living and learning a great experience and you will improve your English skills while you study.
UK boarding schools teach a mix of international pupils and local UK pupils. ‘Boarders’ are pupils who live at the school. ‘Day
pupils’ live with their families and return home at the end of the school day. This mix helps to create a good social atmosphere.
Besides the academic excellence, you will find a wide range extracurriculars; music, drama, art, and sport, encouraging the
pupils to try things they have never done. This will help them to be well-rounded individuals equipped with the skills they need
in the fast-paced world.
I hope you will enjoy your life-changing experience in a UK boarding school.

MESSAGE FROM
AEI
Despite only having a population of 24 million people, Australia receives the third highest number of international students after the
US and UK. There are many good reasons why.
The first and foremost is our global reputation for excellence in education standards and innovative teaching methods. Our
educators place a high priority on helping students to learn, grow and develop into adults that are ready to accept the challenges
of our brave new world. The high quality of our education system delivers students that are creative, confident and have the right
foundations to succeed in their chosen career.
The benefits of studying in Australia are not only academic, they are also personal. Our friendly, multicultural society provides a
welcoming community for overseas students. Our cities are modern, safe and offer a high standard of living. We have many cultural
and sporting events that allow students to enjoy and richer and more fulfilling experience as they learn and grow personally. And
finally, the friendships and connections that will make during their time in Australia may stay with them for many years. Please
visit the Australian government website www.studyinaustralia.gov.au/thai, where you will find past and current Thai students
telling in their own words of their experience of studying in Australia.
Many thanks to CETA Worldwide Education their proactive effort in showing Thai parents and students what Australia has to offer?
I hope the information in this guide book will be useful in helping you decide about Australian schools for your child’s future.
