1.7 In fiscal year B.E. 2565 (2022), the OECT has adjusted the format of
political party management to strengthen and sustain political parties as institutions. This is
in accordance with measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19, where the OECT has
conducted a meeting and an online meeting through Zoom Cloud Meetings to invite
political party leaders, party executives, and political party to listen to explanations. The meeting
was attended by 28 political parties and 32 political parties via Zoom Cloud Meetings, totaling
60 political parties, out of a total of 86 political parties.
1.8 The development of political parties by the OECT has received budgetary
support from the Political Party Development Fund for the fiscal year B.E. 2565 (2022). This is
in accordance with the Political Party Development Fund Strategy Plan, No. 2, 4-year period :
B.E. 2564 - 2567 (2021 - 2024) with a total budget of 75,335,170 baht for the implementation
of 15 projects aimed at achieving the goals of the Strategy Plan of the Political Party
Development Fund.
1.9 Implementing the strategy to enhance comprehension of democratic
regime of government with the King as Head of State: the Office must firmly pursue the
aforesaid goal by presenting such matter to the Council of Ministers for approval and set it as
a national agenda. The Office shall act as an integrating organisation and co-operate other
related organisations.
1.10 In preparation of a memorandum of cooperation with other organisations,
the Election Commission of Thailand and the OECT emphasised promoting youth and
Thai people to have accurate knowledge and understanding about the democratic system
of government with the King as Head of State, leading to the integration of the Election
Commission of Thailand, its Office, and involved organisations to jointly promote
and propose such issue to be a national agenda. The memorandum is made under
the Ministry of Interior, the Ministry of Public Health, the Ministry of Social Devel-
opment and Human Security, the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research
and Innovation, King Prajadhipok’s Institute, and the Ministry of Education.
1.11 Educational service for visitors at Democratic Education Centre in fiscal year
B.E. 2565 (2022): A number of visitors was of 21 groups, 1,559 persons in total. The result of
satisfaction survey indicated that the visitors were highly delighted for the Centre’s
service, equal to 100 percent.
1.12 Regulations and amendments of existing essential regulation ware of nine
issuances in 2022.
1.13 Courtesy calls to the OECT was paid by three delegations from foreign and
international organisations.
