In fiscal year 2025, the preparation process of the
Draft Bangkok Comprehensive Plan progressed to
the next stage, entering formal deliberation by the
Advisory Committee on the Bangkok Comprehensive
Plan, chaired by the Governor of Bangkok. A total of
eight committee meetings were convened throughout
the year to review and refine the draft plan based on
data and proposals from multiple stakeholders. At
the seventh meeting of 2025, held on 10 September
2025, the Committee resolved to submit the reviewed
draft Comprehensive Plan to the Department of
Public Works and Town & Country Planning for further
consideration and procedural actions. This marks a
major milestone toward the promulgation of the new
Bangkok Comprehensive Plan, which is expected to
significantly enhance the quality of life of Bangkok’s
residents in the future.
