The Bang Bon–Bang Khun Thian commercial center represents
the unique characteristics of the district, utilizing its natural
foundations as a basis for development through urban mobility. The
area development plan thus establishes the vision of “A regionally
connected sub-center offering livability through a strong economy
and comprehensive public services.” The development concept
integrates urban development with transportation infrastructure
enhancement, emphasizing Transit-Oriented Development (TOD)
around Bang Bon Railway Station and along Rama II Road to create
a highly accessible and efficient commercial center. Mixed-use
land development is promoted, alongside the upgrading of green
infrastructure through landscape improvement of major canals
– such as Rang Phai Canal, Bang Bon Canal, and Len Pen Canal –
based on the Canal Block concept, in order to enhance quality of
life and environmental conditions in the area.
