A key milestone in the development of the Chao Phraya riverfront area
in Bang Phlat District is the reclamation and enhancement of public land
as recreational spaces with convenient links to rail transit networks
in the area, providing the public with multi-modal transportation
alternatives beyond road and mass transit systems.
To ensure comprehensive consideration, the City Planning and
Urban Development Department has maintained a continuous
participatory process involving all stakeholders. This has included
on-site visits and consultations with relevant parties to present
development concepts and foster understanding among local residents,
as well as to listen to their concerns, opinions, and suggestions,
which are subsequently incorporated into the design and landscape
improvement processes in subsequent stages.
