the goals of the National Strategy. The projects under the Strategic Plan of the Office
of the Election Commission of Thailand aim for effective management of elections
to ensure honesty, fairness, and lawfulness. Therefore, the 20-year Strategic Plan,
B.E. 2561 - 2580 (2018–2037, revised edition) of the Office of the Election
Commission of Thailand is important in setting the direction for the Office of
the Election Commission of Thailand to achieve its vision: “The Office of the
Election Commission of Thailand is internationally recognised for its professional
electoral process in a democratic system with the King as Head of State.”
Nonetheless, success cannot be achieved by the Office of the Election Commission
of Thailand alone; cooperation and integration with Ministries, Departments,
and other relevant agencies-including public and private sectors, as well as civil
society-are necessary to ensure alignment and drive these missions forward
effectively.
The Election Commission of Thailand is supported by the Office of
the Election Commission of Thailand, which is responsible for administrative
tasks, supporting the work of the Election Commission of Thailand, and ensuring
that the Election Commission of Thailand fulfills its duties and responsibilities
as outlined in the Constitution, the Organic Laws, and other relevant laws. This
includes various missions that have been successful, due to a team of executives
with knowledge, skills, and experience, as well as effective administration plans
and resource management. The personnel at the Office of the Election Commission
of Thailand are committed and dedicated to their duties, with the Office’s
Strategic Plan serving as a tool to guide operations. As a result, the Election
Commission of Thailand’s missions are successfully completed, producing tangible
results based on the direction and framework outlined in the 20-year Strategic Plan,
B.E. 2561 - 2580 (2018–2037, revised edition) of the Office of the Election
Commission of Thailand. The following is a summary of the performance results,
key challenges encountered, and notices from the Election Commission of Thailand:
