Moreover, the Provincial Electricity Authority used modern technology to increase effciency
            in work system such as searching for facilities which requested to use power by using the PEA Map
            system and improving operations to solve electricity problems by modifying the OMS system,
            the GIS map system and meteorological data to work with Supervisory Control and Data Acquistion
            (SCADA). This has enabled the Provincial Electricity Authority to monitor progress in solving electricity

            problems much more rapidly.


                   Learning and Development
                   The Provincial Electricity Authority has developed and created a culture of learning in the
            organization by specifying guidelines to promote learning and exchanges of knowledge to develop
            processes and innovations through the process of knowledge management, collection of knowledge
            in categories and knowledge transfers through processes including the organization’s knowledge

            management information system. In addition, the Provincial Electricity Authority established the PEA Think
            Tank concept to use the area to motivate and exchange learning on signifcant issues of interest to
            the organization.
                   Furthermore, the Provincial Electricity Authority promoted employees’ learning in the
            organization in several aspects such as quality exhibitions, innovation competitions, operating skill

            competitions and outstanding electricity authority competitions. The Provincial Electricity Authority
            also promoted learning with external agencies and general people through Provincial Electricity
            Authority learning centers, other electricity utilities visits, cooperation between electricity utilities
            in ASEAN countries and regular academic cooperation projects. Thus, the Provincial Electricity Authority
            has a base of knowledge with readiness to improve and create sustainable innovations in the future.


                   Socioeconomic Aspects
                   The Provincial Electricity Authority has determined to work continually in line with its primary
            missions with responsibility to society and the environment. In 2016, the Provincial Electricity Authority
            expanded performance in the area of corporate social responsibility under ISO 26000 to cover the entire

            organization and push for every agency to raise awareness about the importance of compliance
            with corporate social responsibility standards in every process. The Provincial Electricity Authority requires
            all PEA offces to participate in preparing the PEA plan for responsibility to society and the environment
            of 2017-2021 under the guidelines of the ISO 26000 standards for corporate social responsibility.
                   Furthermore, the Provincial Electricity Authority performed social and environmental projects

            such as projects to produce power from waste disposal in municipalities of Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya,
            the Provincial Electricity Authority Mobile Medical Unit Project, the PEA Safe Community Project, projects
            to support safe power consumption in 84 communities and the Green Offce Project which received
            an outstanding award (G: Gold) from the Department of Environment Quality Promotion.


                   In 2016, the Provincial Electricity Authority managed plans and projects for concurrence
            with the policies of the government, the Ministry of Interior and regulating agencies with the
            determination to become a leading modern regional organization in providing effective electricity
            services to improve quality of life, the economy and society with sustainability.
