Part of the mental structure, which develops and separates from Id.
Functions mainly on the conscious level. Has the role of balancing between the

Id and the truth, and the superego acts in making decisions and facing various

situations by using the defense mechanism.

Compassionate understanding. It is an attribute that psychiatric nurses should

have. Sympathize with and try to understand the patient. Showing an attitude
or gesture that agrees with the patient, not for flattery, but rather trying to feel

WITH the patient.

mouth muscles (tardive dyskinesia).
