If you’ve never walked through an intertidal
forest, then take some time to follow the
boardwalk that meanders through these
mangroves. Low tide can really give you a
glimpse into this coastal ecosystem with its
tiny crabs and other crustaceans crawling
about. Without this environment, the
coastal marine life would be lost as well as
the birds that depend on the sea for their
diet. Informative signage and small spots
to stop and rest, including a large wooden
sala on stilts above the sea, make this quite
a fun and tranquil learning experience.
