The development of new urban areas in the suburban zones of
Bangkok into centers for business, commerce, services, and
recreation—supported by comprehensive infrastructure capable
of accommodating community expansion—represents a signifi cant
step toward creating a compact city with complete components
that respond to contemporary lifestyles. This concept aims to
decentralize density from the inner areas of Bangkok while, in
parallel, achieving an appropriate balance between residential
areas and employment centers for residents in the outer urban
zones of Bangkok.
