The project for the construction of pedestrian
walkways and a bridge crossing Samsen Canal in
the vicinity of Phaya Thai Phirom Park and Phaya

Thai Palace focuses on addressing the lack of connectivity
between the two sides of the canal and visual blind spots.
Given its high density of medical facilities, the area attracts a
large number of patients and their families, medical personnel,
and medical students. Accordingly, the core design principle
emphasizes Universal Design to fully accommodate persons with
disabilities and older persons. The project also includes landscape
improvements and environmental enhancements to connect
green spaces and activity areas on both sides of the canal, as
well as the improvement of the pier on the Phaya Thai Phirum
Park side. This development will facilitate convenient access for
users and promote an enhanced quality of life.
