The mental state examination (MSE) is a preliminary assessment of the

psychological condition of psychiatric patients by observation and inquiry.

Psychological examination can explain the current state of mind of the clients
under the posture, attitude, behavior, emotions, speech, thought process,

content, thoughts, and insight.
